I am currently running 2 desktops. both win 10 pro 64 bit with 4 rx480s
These are the difference in machines as one crashes and other doesn’t
desktop 1 smooth run at intensity 12 with 19sol per card ( no test mode, bios Boysie, as I remember I had to reinstall all the cards with crimson 16.9.2 so probably I have cleaned driver)
desktop 2 instant crash as others described (running on test mode, bios Boysie, probably it has modified driver still in)
I hope it will help pin pointing something

Thanks guys for posting your results. It looks like a driver issue. Please post your exact driver version if you get it working.
Meanwhile I will also try to quickly upgrade to SA kernel.
Windows 8.1 290x latest Catalyst driver runs smooth 20sols get random stop working after a few hours will continue to monitor it. Thanks for the support.

Doesn’t work for 16.1 driver. Upgraded to 16.4 and it works now.
I am on 2 machines with both 16.9.2 one crashes other does not ! funky stuff
THe machine with anniversary update crashes (win 10 pro 1607) while machine with (win 10 pro 1511) does not.
Rig1 4x390 - Win10 build 10586 + 16.7.3 (20.19.0.32832) - Crash
Rig2 5x470 - Win10 build 10586 + 16.9.2 (21.19.137.1) - Crash
Rig3 2x390+7990+R9270 - Win10 build 10586 + 15.12 (15.300.1025.1001/10.0.0.2) - Crash
Win 10 rx470/480 mix amd drivers 16.10.1 crash… driver 16.10.3 crash

It runs on my Windows 7 with one GPU (16.9.2), crashes at my rigs Win 10 with 6 gpu’s
Win 7, HD5850, drivers 15.20 crash
Win 10, R9 200 series, drivers 16.6 - 10.85 sol
windows 7 64 bit drivers 16,9,2 2x RX470 nitro+OC 8gig cards
runs good around 18sols per card varies a little up to 20sol
windows 10 64 bit drivers 16.9.2 5x RX470 nitro+OC 8gig
crashes on start no idea why other than ive got modded bios
on the cards will switch them back later and retry.
