Genoil's ZEC Miner

What the heck is the -k flag where you get these info from I don’t see any hint on that in github…or in his docs.
Some infos what the k flag is about and which params work?

I keep getting one card that crashes, I found which one but if updating drivers dont work then is there anything else I can do?

And the normal genoil.exe (start.bat) has an extra option -k that allows
you to specify the kernels to use. The default is “-k zec zec” which
means two Miner thread are launched per GPU.

Anyone having an issue when some of the GPUs stop mining (0 s\s) after some time (20-30 mins) ?
Happens on different machines for me… Win10 64\rx470
Thought it is modded bios, but lowering memclock below modified straps threshold seems to have no effect.

was happening to me earlier too, but now its not… strange… been stable for 1-2 hours now… Im actually surprised.

many ppl having this issue
just try .reboot .bat like this
:start
taskkill /F /IM genoil.exe
start /MIN genoil.exe -c address -u user -p x -g 0
TIMEOUT /T 3600
goto start
pause
3600 - seconds

Thanks I somehow didn’t see it…the thread thing here is a bit confusing with the slide panel and …

miner dont wot on 280x

Already replied to you check few posts up.

maybe its the iGPU, i bet thats it, ill check that out, thansk

Thanks. Will try reboot bat

So just add the following in the .bat file?

:start
taskkill /F /IM genoil.exe
start /MIN genoil.exe -c address -u user -p x -g 0
TIMEOUT /T 3600
goto start
pause
3600 - seconds

Is this actually fixing the problem or restarting the 1 GPU every time it stops?

Thanks

im not good with english, but i will try
:start
taskkill /F /IM genoil.exe
start /MIN genoil.exe -c address -u user -p x -g 0
TIMEOUT /T 3600
goto start
pause

That’s should be .bat file
address - your pool address
user - username
-g 0 - nubmer of cards you want to mining (0 - 1 card, 0 1 - 2 cards etc)
timeout /t 3600 - time, after which miner will automtically reboot (you can put here any number, example: 3600 - 1 hour, 7200 - 2 hours, 1800 - 30 min)

This bat file wil not actually fix your problem, he is only for autorestart your miner (to not monitoring each minute your miner)

to me it seems like the SilentArmy effectivity decreases as the number of cards increases. I have one rig with 2 RX480s and one with 4 RX480s cards. 2 cars is running on i5-6600K while 4 cards running on G4400.

I tend to reach 37-38 Sol/card/sec (although inconsistently but still quite often) on 2 card i5-system. But on G4400 4 card system, I tend to be at 32 on an average. CPU efficiency in handling requests seems to be the issue here.

Exactly what I am getting, the more cards you add the slower it will get.

Thanks for the info man, appreciate it bro.

Will try fix my problem, if I cant I will add this.

Cheers

cant get this auto reboot to work  . can someone post their working config with the auto reboot.

please tell me your all getting 1 gpu crashing?

Not just mine right?

I dont want a reboot I want it working well.

getting in one rig the error: clcreatecommandqueue :expressionless: anyone else? win7 x64 16.10.3

none are crashing for me now
