How long can a payment to a z-addr take to confirm?

I received a payout from a pool 12h+ ago. It took hours to even see the payment coming on my z-addr with
/zcash-cli z_getbalance 0
It’s been about 12h now that the payment is waiting to confirm. Still not confirmed. Still not spendable.

Is this normal? Just how long can it take to confirm a payment to a z-addr?

Another 2h elapsed, and the z-addr payment still hasn’t confirmed. Been 14h+ now. Is this a bug in zcash?
