With tromp’s solver with zcashd I get these results after running for an hour in the foreground:
3.2xlarge:- You have contributed 6.5720 Sol/s on average to the network solution rate.
c3.4xlarge:- You have contributed 12.7153 Sol/s on average to the network solution rate.
c4.xlarge:- You have contributed 4.3195 Sol/s on average to the network solution rate.
If you are mining solo, it’s normal, you will have no balance until you find a block, but with only 4x m4.large, your chances of finding a block are slim, so take that more like some kind of lottery ticket. If you are mining with a pool just be patient. There is a lot of variance in finding blocks, and then it takes 100+ confirmations before being able to spend the mining reward, so pools won’t credit your account before a good while.
