I would like to know if Zingo is compatible with ZIP 316, as I am choosing a wallet that is compatible with Ywallet and Zkool, I want to be able to switch between wallets without having any unpleasant surprises.

Thanks for the question ceb’ - I’m letting people know this is being asked here, so you should hear back with a good answer shortly.
Forgive me if my message was arrogant, that was not my intention. Rereading the message, I believe I was unable to express myself properly.

Nothing at all to worry about! I didn’t think your message was rude.
I took a look at the ZIP and decided I wouldn’t be able to answer myself.. but go ahead and try to reformulate your question if you’d like! I myself wondered when you asked about Zingo compatibility, do you mean zingo-cli or one of the mobile apps?
Yes, Zingo is compatible with ZIP316.
Please note that YWallet does not support internal changes, and in Zkool you must check that option before restoring the wallet.
What does “internal changes” mean and what is it for? My intention is to migrate from Ywallet to Zingo.
The internal change address is where any excess value put into the tx is returned to you. Like when you buy something with cash and the cashier gives you back the difference, the notes in your wallet may not add up exactly to how much you want to spend. That means you need an address to send the extra change back to yourself and the wallet automatically handles this. How the wallet derives the key to that address is what can cause issues and is why Zkool supports the option.
Like I’ve mentioned, you can restore a seed with a known balance in a different wallet and if the balance is wrong after syncing, then it is possible this is the problem. Typically, if that happens when you’re trying to restore, you just import your seed to another wallet and see if it’s better.
