Today is the last day to contribute to Zcash Gitcoin Grants. There are 13 grants posted. So far there have been 115 contributions by 41 contributors worth 22 ZEC. Based on the number and amount of contributions, each grant will receive a portion of the $25K matching funds. Projects with the most contributors tend to receive the highest amount of matching funds.

The idea of ​​such a distribution of grants is very cool! Even though some of the donations were not included in the distribution formula (Z-addresses), the first round for me personally demonstrated the convenience and relevance of this way of community prioritizing. I’m sure that gitcoin, together with new Zcash funding funds, will provide powerful incentives for the development of the ZEC infrastructure.
