I have indeed tried both i am currently running with 24 threads it looks like. i am currently seeing 80 sol/s
24 theadâŚnice somehow with all miners i get 64-128 but with this miner max. 18
Yes, thatâs what I said. Not sure what youâre trying to say.
Just an lovely ack ![]()
Hi all,
just a short update because I have to go to university now.
@ioglnx
Remember the threads in my miner are not cuda threads, but processing threads. Each threads will run the Equihash algorithm by itself and therefore need ~390MB of GPU memory.
Roadmap for today and tomorrow:
- integrate switch for blocking / non-blocking sync
- reduce PCI-e utilization
- maybe some performance optimizations
Iâll be back in a few hours. See you then!
Thanks have a nice day studyâŚand mind the lecture not the code ![]()
Thanks ioglnx! If all goes well, next release will be tomorrow ![]()
For sure we all stay tuned.
Have a good day Iâm going back to sleep ![]()
24threads seems to be the sweet spot for my titan going up to 28 crashes the miner 27 is a little slower than the 24 =)
if you decide you want me to test anything let me know. I kinda just do things for the giggles lol.
PLEASE!!!
Anyone compile this for WINDOWS x64 ??? .
Hi have Nvidia GTX 1070 .
IT works on x64 WindowsâŚyou should follow and read the thread man
what is hashrate with gtx 1070 on windows ? .
Please read the thread and you will discover or try it yourself. Thanks
DEV Why is NVIDIA comp 5.0 5.2 Windows 8.1 left out need an upgrade miner for that. Thx please make a thread on bitcointalk too. 750ti 980ti
Oldi cardsâŚthe 7.5 will mess up the speed âŚas you can see with nicehash.
Windows 8.1 is not left out he developed on 8.1 just read the thread better.
Youâre like a savant. So when people edit it to work with other pools, do I get a cookie too or are you going to climb back in your hole?
And I still would suggest selling his code to Nicehash or find someone else to work with and perhaps split profits (like Genoil). I donât think you understand. Youâre so worried about where you mine and what happens next that you canât even see that itâs less profitable mining Equihash then Ethereum. At 66sols itâs just barely more profitable then mining Ethereum with a 1070.
Why so aggressive and accusingâŚi just say that this is the outcome that u stick to one pool. Which is not goo in terms of freedom. And i donât mine ETH nor iâm interested you assume and riddle like in all you post when argumentation is needed or at least if someone questions your statements. Thanks for the fish man.
I just talk nice but your aggressive way here and in bitcointalk speaks for itself.
Just giving back what youâre doing dude. Something about you leaving cheeky ass spam in this thread for the last two hours. Scroll up.
Itâs nothing to do with Freedom at this point. If you canât even make as much as Ethereum, itâs not worth mining. You know what everyone will do with their âfreedomâ once they realize they can make more money else where? Leave.
Iâm sorry once again if youâre not interested in profits. You are now a niche case scenario and anything you say does not apply to almost all the other miners. Some people do this as a job and arenât hobbiests interested in losing money.
Here you attack me and there you complain about exactly what i said man donât you check or get your mind sortedâŚi suggest you go back to your hole or climb on that tree your aggression and confusion comes from.
You are spammer and cheeky non realizing man not me or the othersâŚ
Really âŚi feel sorry for you
Tell me, why wouldnât I ask Nicehash to allow their code to be used on other pools? At no point here did I say I wanted to be locked to Nicehash. We were talking about ZC selling his code to Nicehash. Two different issues.
Nicehash still would have a âmonopolyâ as you call it and still can do whatever they want with their code. I suggested they add a dev fee and allow it to be used else where as a in between.
I am still for ZC selling his code to Nicehash or working with other developers because even a 66sol 1070 miner is barely faster then mining Ethereum. In order for Nvidia to be competitive with AMD either developers need to work together (selling/merging) or a coding savant needs to come along, nothing has changed.
