Miner- [NiceHash] Zcash CPU/GPU for Linux and Windows

Getting 18-19 Sol at FX8320 but crashes constantly after 2-3 minutes of mining. Win7 x64. Any ideas?

Overheating perhaps?

Are 70 degrees Celsius overheating?

APPCRASH
nheqminer.exe
Code: c0000005
Offset: 0000000000007949
OS ver: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48

What are your starting parameters?

I’ve tried nheqminer and I’m getting fewer Sol/s than using zcashd with Tromp’s miner.
Why is happening this?

this is awesome! great news

Tried to run with 4 to 7 threads, no difference. All other are default

Am i right that cuda only support nvidea cards? i tried the windows builds  do you add opencl support?

Please explain for me, as i think, need register purse, for send mining zcash to purse zcash, where i can register zcash purse and where is manual for mining on windows? if i want cpu+gpu nicehash, or somebody…
Sorry for my bad english, i am rus.

This is the forked version, thoughts?

Now would be a good time to release your AMD/Opencl miner.

correct. Only N card or now

and only windows, no source code. my linux rigs can mine only with eXtremal’s opencl miner, which can mine only at one pool.

yep same problem here

Hey guys,

New here. Just a few questions. Thanks for any help in advance:

  1. I have a core i7 4770k → I imagine this would mean 8 usable threads as a 4 core processor? I’ve read that using -t 6 is the most ideal setting. Would this be the case for the 4770?

  2. If I’m understanding this correctly: Say the i7 alone were to run at, perhaps, 20 sol/s at a TDP of 84W (hypothetical), and an nvidia GTX at the same 20 sol/s at a TDP of 150 W (hypothetical). Would this mean the CPU is more profitable to run? Theoretically speaking, if ZEC were to increase in value in the long term, I suppose it would be to my advantage to maximize mining with both the CPU and GPU… regardless of the relative power draw difference. You could even make an argument that in the short term, the same would apply if the price of ZEC is astronomical out of the gate. Correct me if I’m wrong.

  3. Does anyone have recommended OC settings for GTX1070 yet? I’m going to start playing around with the core & mem clocks soon.

Did you fix the issue with gpu processing slowdown on slower cpu system? Hashing on 1070 on a celeron was slower, but cpu speed should not matter right?

can you push the source code to github? it wasnt updated in days. also I created a pull request for a linux linking issue.
