It’s not the 4% fee that’s keeping me from mining w/ them, it’s the 4 ZEC minimum withdrawal. That’s just robbery.
So if you have 24 threads you telling me you should get around 144sol/s?
is there an OpenCL version of the nicehash miner for AMD cards?
how do you enable the silentarmy solver , on my 480 its giving me 17 sol/s with the version you told me to try.
Did anyone get the AVX / AVX2 optimizations running in linux? The code online doesn’t seem to match the alpha code and the windows release.
Perhaps? I only know what I’m getting on my setup, (Windows 10) i7 6700k w/ 32GB of decent memory. There may be (likely) diminishing returns, but I can’t test that. The single core performance of the i7 is very strong.
Are you on linux or windows?
Thanks for the info man
coinsforall is a scam. 95% of the people here and cloud miners won’t reach the 4zec payout before going screw this and move to a new miner that allows you to mine on a better pool.
this is the reason he has locked it to his pool with stupid high fees and payouts. as he will just claim the pot of people who never made payout. which in the first month will be just about everyone.
I tested a .02a fork on an i7 3770 stock, 16GB mem, Win 10, and hit 20.2 Sol/s with -t 6 parameter.
I love how the professionally funded dev team does a fair launch. Leaving the community to scammers. They could have picked a well known POW without asics with well defined and efficient stratum pools and mining software. Yet, they did some scammy bullshit equihash stuff with no robust open source software infrastructure. I bet they might even have their own internal optimized miners. #fairlaunch #herewegoagain #cryptoscams
Is there any other zcash pool using the same frontend protocol that is used by coinsforall?
You might want to follow along here to see what flypool is up to: Zcash Pool- Zcash.flypool.org - #93 by peter_zcash
Note: the current extremal 0.2.1 has a silentarmy binary that just dies for me anyway. I think there will be a couple options in the next day or so. With the slow start, getting in at genesis isn’t as big of a deal (except for day one dumping I suppose).
I need a linux zcash cuda miner with stratum support before moving to any other pool ![]()
So with an AMD GPU no way currently to mine on Nicehash?
You can use Genoil’s miner for now.
@nicehashdev Hey guys… You guys been rocking. Only few hours to go live. What is the status of linux source code?
Important: All of you who want to mine Zcash with NiceHash but still earn ZEC (instead of BTC), here is a pool for you: http://zcash.nicehash.com/
By the way, we are talking to decrease ZEC payout starting on 0.1
when optimized cuda miner released ? as you told we done some improvements.
We will release in a package with OpenCL support.
