Anyhelp is gratefully appreciated, new to ubuntu (fairly) and also zcash. Want to use this new 16.04 Ubuntu install to run and mine zcash. I get this once all builds and try to run. .conf shows node as addnode=mainnet.z.cash
You need set a RPC user and password in your zcash.conf
e.g:
rpcuser=myusername
rpcpassword=SomethingReallySecure
i did, and then i set permissions for user/group and do i check the program part?
Maybe that part is wrong and causing the error? But i def gave a new username and pass like this addnode=mainnet.z.cash
