This page still has the original release time frame on it right at the top. I’m not sure who to ask about updating it, but I noticed I was reluctant to link it because of anticipating confusion.
z.cash is managed by ECC. You can find the latest schedule on z.cash/support/schedule/.
Thanks. I know the schedule, but was not sure whom to report the issue to. I like the description on that page, but don’t want to link something with a glaring error in it.
I believe @joshs will be able to get info updated on the z.cash site.
The page needs to read as past tense, which we’ll fix. I see the text above, but the page actually says “The testnet will be activated on approximately October 7, 2021 at block height 1,599,200.” which I believe is correct.
Oh, my mistake! Thank you for the correction. Maybe best would be to put both?
The testnet and mainnet? Yes, we’ll update with mainnet activation when the blockheight is set - should be in a couple weeks. But we should probably say that on the page.
Also, testnet will be rolling back with the 4.7.0 release (in which we will be deploying the final changes to the NU5 consensus rules that were made during the first testnet), so NU5 will re-activate on it at a later height.
