@zerodartz Its a weighted vote. Its entirely possible most of the 62 ballots (if I read it right) were in favor
Any summaries / graphs etc. of the results should make clear the abstention percentages. Particularly for the non-coinholder polls, abstention was easy, and thus an explicit choice that individuals were making. For coinholder voting, abstentions are muddied by the current need to do completely separate voting processes for each question, so “ran out of time and just got through the votes on the ones I cared most about” is indistinguishable from “chose to not vote on questions I wanted to abstain from”.
@Alex_ZF and I will publish a summary on Monday covering the results across all polls, including vote counts and percentages, along with abstentions for the non-coinholder polls.
ZCAP is the complete opposite of coin voting. Congratulations, we’ve been taken over.
The coin holders should be in charge because they have everything to lose. it seems like zcap all voted for ZSAS but when it came to coinholder voting they only totalled to 16k ZEC.
This means that ZCAP doesnt even own any zcash…
Yes, I interpret it exactly the same way. It is deeply regrettable for me.
Or, that those on ZCAP that do own ZEC were in the minority within ZCAP.
Nonetheless, some improvements have clear support across all groups.
It’s best to focus on the delivery of those things that have clear community support. And also, continue to debate the merits of those things where alignment has not yet been reached.
