Officially, only transparent is currently supported but Ledger Zondax is preparing an app to release at some point. You can follow that here.
Unofficially, yes. The Ywallet app Ledger option has supported Orchard for quite a while. Currently, the option is not exposed in the latest Ywallet version since the last UI overhaul. You could potentially use that version (1.4.3, I believe), but BE ADVISED: if you used any newer wallet version (of the same build type e.g. flatpak, appimage) then there is the possibility (liklihood) of database corruption due to an incompatibility from changes made between the old and new versions. So, if youāre planning on downgrading, be sure to back up everything, double-check that the back-ups work beforehand. Hello! I have been sending the occasional payment using Zcash for several years, but now I donāt seem to be able to send anything at all. On the desktop Iād been using zecwallet lite, and have also tried ywallet, both latest versions available. Iāve also tried all of the respectable-looking Android wallets that will let me (try to) restore an existing wallet, and they donāt seem to want to sync (zashi will sit for literal days without updating its sync percentage above 0.82%). The wallets Iām using have 24 word seed phrases.
Iām clearly doing something wrong but I have no idea what. I suppose I could try running a full node but that really seems like overkill, so Iām hoping thereās another solution.
I havenāt been following Zcash network/protocol development but thereās also nothing Iām aware of thatās unusual about my setup. Itās rather frustrating!
Yes, zecwallet light will no longer work properly. Ywallet is an excellent platform but the 2 are not immediately cross compatible with seed import. Syncing the wallet typically takes a while and will often appear basically frozen, but itās best to just leave it alone.
For PC, you could also try eZcash and ZingoPC (linux). These wallets are both products of Zcash community grant recipients.

Do you have a transaction id?
If you look at the transaction with the ID on a block explorer and see that it is confirmed, then it is likely related to the wallet.
Certain wallets require that the funds be shielded before they are considered spendable.

Sounds like you have to contact the sending exchange. They may not have included a high enough fee. Typical Zcash transaction has confirmations in less than 5 minutes.
Tell them about ZIP 317 which requires higher TX fee to prevent spam:
Normal Zcash txs will expire after just an hour or two (typically confirmed with 1 or 2 blocks), though if the custody wallet has not updated to support the latest network upgrade, then it would have been immediately rejected anyways. Regardless, the tx does not exist in the blockchain or mempool and so it will not occur.
