Trying to move ZEC from Ledger Live (Ledger Nano S) but i’m getting this error:
An exception occurred during transaction send: 16: bad-tx-consensus-branch-id-mismatch
What i have to do? Lost my funds??

I have the same error using a Ledger Nano X device. I’m not a technical person. Tried to recover the ledger wallet to YWallet and move from there but no luck. YWallet seems to be able to send showing me a transaction id but it does not get through it seems. Zec remains stuck in my ledgerlive wallet.
update to latest ywallet 1.8.0 released today. mine is working now.

I don’t get it. Website says current YWallet version is 1.7.0.

I installed ywallet 1.8.0 and restored my ledger live wallet on it.
When trying to move ZEC from it to another wallet, ywallet gives me “Transaction sent” together with a transaction id.
But that’s it. ZEC remain in my ywallet and when I go into the blockchain explorer (blockchain) for this transaction id, it shows
TRANSACTION STATUS
Pending confirmations
TIME
XXX XX, XXXX XX:XX
FYI - I’ve opened a support case on the Ledger Support website and will update here in case of any outcome.

Which Ledger Live Zcash app are you using? or used originally is maybe better?
Reason I ask is because the Ywallet ledger app is not an official app. The official one requires the Zondax zecwallet light fork, you can’t use Ywallet with it.
The Ywallet ledger app also may not be functioning because it requires an older wallet version which may not work now.
Seriously?? So the problem is with the ledger software and not with the zCash network? My Ledger Live software and wallet firmware are updated to the latest version.

Wallets needed to upgrade to support the latest consensus branch ID after the Zcash network upgrade. It has affected a large number of users.
Also, can you elaborate a little more on the kind of transaction e.g. transparent, shielded and exactly what wallet software?
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I CAN’T TRANSFER ANYTHING…Neither FROM THE TRUST WALLET, OR FROM THE EXODUS, IT GIVES ME AN ERROR WHEN I WANT TO TRANSFER FROM THE WALLET!

In Ledger Live
The older one is transparent only and probably doesnt need any other external wallet. Shielded app does and would allow for ‘transparent or shielded’ txs. Regardless, they would both have needed to upgrade to support the latest consensus branch ID.

The only version that i have in App catalog is the Zcash (ZEC) Version 2.2.0 and this is the one i’m using but without success.

The app I used on the ledger live is the original Zcash ledger app v2.2.0. That’s the one giving the issue as mentioned in this ticket ( An exception occurred during transaction send: 16: bad-tx-consensus-branch-id-mismatch)
However, I have found a workaround:
I installed the Zashi wallet app on my mobile.
Restored my ledger wallet on it.
Converted to shielded mode for sending since it did not allow me to send publicly.
Sent successfully to the receiving exchange wallet.
Confirmations took ages but it worked.
