The only purpose left to me is waiting for the refund according to what you have said as following: Refunds Nope. After the auction is complete, we will not do refunds unless we have difficulty fulfilling the hashpower contract. Bid with that in mind

I hope everyone here can take advantage of the open source hash rate out now to try and cover some of their loses.
We are currently hashing away at close to 50H/s on 6 4gb 290’s on mainnet. A bit under 300H/s per $2000 rig with silentarmy kernel in zcash code base.
There are a lot of open issues and active miners in gitter to help you get set up. We just finished and are cleaning up now for a zcash PR.

300H/s with $2000 rig - around 3BTC for 300H/s - toomim cloud mining price of 1H/s for 0.065H/s will cost you 45BTC to get the 300H/s - for 3 month only. (electricity not counted, but with contract you get no hardware at the end)
so about 15x overpriced compared to open source miner and can’t even fulfil the promise of delivering from day 1 when it actually matters the most.

I posted links to our repo above, we are relying on the community to help each other get set up but it;s fairly straight forward. We need to merge some branches, run some tests, and get some documents together. I’ll be doing that tomorrow and i have a lot of help. Thanks to the community

[/quote] yes you are exactly right ,that is why I have posted for refund, such an overpriced hashrate Selling but without the first day’s mining and high price selling is a dead business.
Toomin Bros Mining Concern Ltd. – for those overseas, I want to explain that in the USA, Ltd. means an LLC or limited liability company, sort of like a corporation. It’s used to protect your personal assets should your business suffer losses or face legal challenge. It looks like the Toomin Bros LLC (Washington state UBI# 603429979) became inactive last year. They have a new one, Real Toomim LLC (UBI #603451609), but were doing business under the old name. They could have easily said they were Real Toomim LLC doing business as (D/B/A) Toomin Bros Mining Concern Ltd., and would have received legal protection, but they didn’t. Especially given their anti-consumer rhetoric in recent emails, I’m guessing they don’t have counsel advising them. This means Jonathan and Michael Toomim’s personal assets are up for grabs if anyone tries to seek their debts.
They were selling hashing power on day one, the only day that mattered. They failed to deliver. I would be fine with a refund on Monday morning, but it is reassuring to know that they have absolutely no legal protection whatsoever should we all need to escalate things. Shrug.

Thanks for the information tribby. This is certainly noted and I suspect there are enough unsatisfied customers reading who would want to escalate if refunds are not offered.
I demand a full refund as well. Anything else is unacceptable. I don’t care about ROI, or high price. I paid for a service, that I didn’t get!

Toomim - it is clear that you are ignoring what’s being written by so many users so you can try and some how redeem some of your broken pride but I don’t want your weak attempt of hash. You failed to meet hash requirement and I am asking for a full refund.

Toomim are disgraceful. I have read over every single message and email, and have not found a single apology from their end. They continue to post technical updates, ignore requests for refunds, and seemingly show no remorse whatsoever for the many customers who spent significant money on a service that failed from day one.
I see a lot of ‘I am not satisfied’ sign off’s from J Toomim. Join the club buddy. Instead of saying you’re not satisfied, which none of us care about, how about you address the hundreds of unsatisfied customers with a real apology and explanation, followed by refunds.

All I can say that this was a very disappointing weekend and my money was better spend elsewhere.
I think most of us were patient, and we are not interested in the technical details, because that is why we paid you, so that we didn’t have to care. Instead of providing us technical jibberish, please have the common courtesy that to own up that your company as a cloud mining service provider has failed big time. This is not about providing us technical details, but its about valuing your customers and your reputation.
