i can not advice you what to buy because i dont know a lot of mb’s but i bought the asus prime z270-a, 7 pcie slots + 2 m.2, which should be good for creating an 8 gpu rig.

if you want more, check out http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=884 , which has 12 x pcie slots.
