I agree with this. I actually think a name change may be in the cards. Much like Twitter => X, Zcash => Z, Zed, or Zero. Zcash should be able to be used as a medium of exchange, or simply to store your wealth if you see fit.

Zcash has many problems and I’ll try to summarize what I think the main ones are: Dev Fund (Mis-)Management: The Dev Fund appears to be susceptible to exploitation, with some grant recipients offering questionable value for the magnitude of funding they receive. Have you heard of Pepsi? It was originally called Brad’s Drink. Sony? Originally named Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo. Starbucks was called “Starbucks Coffee, Tea, and Spice”.

My proposal is just “Z”. Then we could have a stablecoin named Zcash. Ultimately, I feel the word “Cash” is too US-centric and synonymous with “fiat dollars”.
