The following report is about the Zcash Brazil 2023 proposal:
The growing Zcash community in Brazil is actively engaging in discussions, organizing meetups, and sharing knowledge through online forums and social media platforms. This surge in interest reflects a recognition of the importance of privacy in financial transactions and highlights the increasing role of cryptocurrencies in the Brazilian market.
The Zcash community in Brazil is experiencing significant growth and demonstrating a strong interest in privacy-focused cryptocurrencies. Zcash, with its innovative zero-knowledge proof technology, has captured the attention of individuals and businesses seeking enhanced financial privacy and security. Brazil’s vibrant cryptocurrency ecosystem, coupled with the rising awareness and adoption of blockchain technologies, has fostered a favorable environment for Zcash’s expansion.
Highlights:
- Zcash Brazil → Zcash Latam → Zcash Global Server has completed 1 year (Birthday 05/25): x.com
- 3 Brazilians will go to Zcon4 in Barcelona thanks to Zcash Foundation.
- We did a Twitter space with Bankless - CBDCs and why Zcash is important: x.com
- Zcash Brazil bought 3 Ledgers Nano Plus for a giveaway, and we got 40% more Twitter followers and 200K impressions (300%): x.com
- CoinEx Pizza Day with Zcash BR participation: x.com
- We did a Partnership with the NYM project to Websummit Rio 2023.
- We added the Dizzy bot, developed by @james_katz to Zcash Global Server, a bot that allows users to send and receive ZEC shielded & Unified: x.com
- We gave complete swag kits for our users in Brazil:x.com, x.com, x.com, x.com
- We did a Partnership with the Privacy Map channel until December/2023

- We made a Poker Night event and started to plan more events for Zcash Global.

We posted the Poker Night announcement on the Leo Finance community and got new members to the Zcash Community.
- We launched Dizzy Bot with JamesKatz on Zcash Global Community in Call, teaching the Brazilians how to make shielded transactions on Discord. It was a success!
- We wrote a post explaning about Dizzy Bot
- We posted a video of James talking about Dizzy that we recorded in the Community Call

We saw a huge potential in Leo Finance and made contact with the responsibility for the Marketing to future partnerships between Zcash Global and Leo Finance. We’re planning new things with them in English & PT

We made some updates on the Zcash Global Server, including a category to help the community with questions and issues using any of these wallets. Our plan for these rooms is to connect with the element rooms and telegram to merge all communities.

Brave has employees representing the company in Portugal. Our plan is a partnership between the Community Manager and the whole team for Zcash Community.
- Transfero
Transfero is an international platform for trading crypto. Our plan with them is to implement Zcash to buy things using Zcash through card machines. They accepted to join in a call with us to talk about the crypto adoption in Brazil.

- @vito - up to $1000/month for expenses with hours worked as Community/Social Media Manager and Content Creator in Brazil.

- Pool ticket: $6 - month / 12x = $72 year
- Canva: $8 - month / 12x = $96 year
- Adobe: $24 - month / 12x = $288 year
- Linktree: $5 - month / 12x = $60 year
