Highligths
In November 2025, Zcash Brazil expanded partnerships with Ledger and NYM for secure hardware and privacy tools, Rafaelando and Modular Crypto for creative content, and Offchain Brazil, plus usePicnicBR for off-chain and adoption talks. Key collaborators like Camila Nikolaus (DeFi/Web3), Casta Crypto (autonomy), and P2P dot me (KYC-free txs) joined Zebra Talks and events, boosting Zcash’s reach and vibrancy in Latin America. In-person event in ETH LATAM with a great network, soon news talks.
Zcash Brazil worked on solid basics and new tools. We launched ZecStats.info for simple network checks. We added API and Discord auto-help to ZecFaucet for fast user coupons. We also got the Zcash Vote Server running smoothly. James fixed odd mempool issues in Dizzy, ZcashMetro, and ZecFaucet. He switched services to stable Zingolib 2.0.9. Plus, we set up a new self-run Lightwalletd + Zebrad system in Brazil. This gives better local control and safety.
The Zebra Pi project was a big hit. It’s a cute, plug-and-play Raspberry Pi full node. It comes in a Zebra plush toy bag. This mixes hardware fun with a simple setup. It helps the community get hands-on with the network. These steps, along with giveaways, Zebra Talks with partners, and easy onboarding, made Zcash stronger in Brazil. It turns tech into daily joy and builds a close Latin America group.
Creative ideas lit up the month with the first Shielded Album. It dropped five tracks, like “9 Years of Privacy” and “Intent to Connect” with NEAR. Each has videos, lyrics, and art that blend music with Zcash privacy stories. This draws in fans and new users. ZONA Z episodes are easy talks on topics like privacy fears, DeFi for women, and daily choices. They include cool visuals and guest chats. We shared them on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to make big ideas feel fun and close, plus intern calls ZEC Insider.
These actions built a tougher Zcash system in Brazil. They grew the community with giveaways, partner Zebra Talks, and smooth onboarding. They turned tech into art that shares privacy love. Now, Zcash feels like home for Latin America users.

November was a packed month filled with infrastructure upgrades, new launches, and a few unexpected challenges across the Zcash ecosystem. Here’s a summary of everything delivered.
New Launches & Major Deliveries
ZecStats.info – New Live Zcash Dashboard
This month we developed, registered a new domain, and launched https://zecstats.info, a clean and fast website dedicated to real-time Zcash network stats.
It’s now part of our growing ecosystem of tools that help the community visualize the network’s health in a friendly way.
ZecFaucet – API Integration + New Automation
ZecFaucet received a significant upgrade with a brand-new API layer.
We’ve begun integrating it with Dizzy, our micropayments Discord bot:
- Users will be able to request coupons directly from Discord.
- Completely automated — no human action needed.
- One coupon per user per 24 hours.
This is a big leap towards making ZecFaucet a fully service-integrated platform.
Zcash Vote Server – Up and Running
After many days and nights of work, we finally managed to deploy and run a Zcash vote server.
Mempool Issues & Service Resilience
The Zcash mempool behaved weirdly this month, causing disruptions in several of our services. Here’s what was affected and fixed:
Dizzy (Micropayments Bot)
- Withdrawals temporarily protected behind a password.
- Monitoring and user support provided.
- Issue fixed — withdrawals are now functioning normally again.
ZcashMetro
- Hundreds of “ghost” transactions appeared due to
n_expiry_height = 0transactions. - Implemented a fix to ignore non-expiring transactions.
- Service stabilized.
ZecFaucet
- Minor adjustments to keep it stable under the unusual mempool conditions.
Migration to Zingolib 2.0.9
- Work started to port our services to the stable 2.0.9 release.
zingolibwrapperupdated accordingly.
New Infrastructure: Zcash Lightwalletd + Zebrad
We built a brand-new Zcash infrastructure stack, including:
- Fresh domain registration.
- Dedicated Zebrad + Lightwalletd deployment.
- Syncing began on 11/14/2025.

This gives us our own fully independent ecosystem for future products and services.
New Project: Zebra Pi – Plug-and-Play Full Node
One of the most fun and creative projects we’ve ever done:
- Designed a Raspberry Pi–based “plug-and-play” Zcash full node.
- Built custom RPi images for 1-click flashing and immediate configuration.
- Created a physical product:
A Zebra plush toy carrying a bag, and inside the bag we placed:- a Raspberry Pi
- a full SSD
- running a full Zebra node
Project announcement and community discussion:
We named the device Zebra Pi — the first “cute-node-as-infrastructure” solution for Zcash.

November was all about infrastructure, stability, and bringing new ideas to life:
