Zcash Brazil is joining Ipê Village, Brazil's largest pop-up city

Last year, the Zcash team (arjunkhemani, jswihart, zooko) flew to Singapore to run a Zcash Network State event at @balajis’ Network School.

This week, Balaji and other top VCs announced a $25M investment in @zodl_app, a Zcash wallet built by members of the original Zcash team.

Now it’s happening in Brazil.

We’re excited to announce we’re joining as an ecosystem partner at Ipê Village by @ipecity, Brazil’s largest pop-up city and network state community.

From April 6 to May 1 in Florianópolis, 500+ builders from 10+ countries will gather to prototype a new city for the AI era.

We’ll co-host the Privacy House and run daily buildathons with ZK, FHE, Zcash, and many other partners.

Ipê Village II is the second edition of Brazil’s first pop-up city, where 170+ builders from 10+ countries lived together for 30 days, building new governance tools with blockchain, AI and cryptography. 30+ apps were shipped.

This time there will be a Privacy House, with privacy as a central pillar of the event. I’ll be there. Would love to see more Zcashers join us.
