We’ve launched the call for applications for our 8th Meetup in collaboration with Diana, NYM’s official ambassador who lives in Mexico. Diana will be visiting us from Puebla to give an in-person talk/workshop about NYM at the Club Zcash in Querétaro. This opens the door to a new phase of collaborations with different projects and communities active in Mexico.
We’ve also launched another initiative on X. It consists of a space called “Espacio Zcash” which will take place every other Tuesday to address the lack of a native space on X where Zcash can gain visibility within the broader Spanish-speaking cryptocurrency community. Since the streams on X from YouTube don’t allow X users to join and actively participate in the conversations.

What’s next for the Club Zcash Querétaro?
- Zcash Meetup in Puebla.
- Moca Meetup in Querétaro (a payment processor that supports ZEC).
- We’re in talks to participate in one of Mexico’s most important events that brings together AI, blockchain and fintech.
- The Club Zcash Querétaro will be present at Zcon7 Cancún, México.
- More collaborations with projects and individuals.
I’m currently testing the MOCA beta and everything works well, except that they only support transparent ZEC. I’d like to connect them with ZODL or Shielded Labs to see how they can help integrate ZEC into Ironwood.
Our focus is on building a strong physical community around Zcash and privacy in Mexico, going beyond the digital realm. I have many more initiatives that will contribute to this mission, and I hope to implement them later. Thank you all for your support, and I look forward to continuing to promote Zcash in Mexico.
