Zcash E-sport Tournament

We are currently looking to bring together all gamers in the Zcash community.

Goals of the initiative are to:

  • Chill
  • Have fun :smiley:
  • Build Community (get to know each other)
  • Raise awareness of everything privacy including DAO’s, Education, NFTs, News
  • Play together with friends

Things we need to decide:

  • What e-sport, video games, the community most interested in:

  • What time works best for the community to play together

  • A dedicated/volunteer community gaming manager to schedule games, events

  • Potential prizes to encourage engagement

    • Cypherpunkzero NFT’s
    • Zcash

  • A member who can stream events

  • A team name (Get creative!)

If this is something the community is interested in, we want to eventually reach outside of the zcash community and play teams from other communities with the goal of making privacy normal.

Great idea! I would be willing to donate a CypherPunkZero as a prize for this! In terms of games I personally think chess would be great. We can further discuss details on the 19th during the next Happy Hour :owl: :chess_pawn:

Overwatch 2, Valorant, LoL and or Dota 2 can be good options. Are there any players here?

In general, it would be good to have a poll to measure the number of players and the kind of games played on this forum, is this possible?
