I thought the next halving was sometime in 2024 but I found a site saying that the next halving is on block 2,092,800 and that is going to happen in about 3 months in May is that correct?

Would this not be pushed closer if POS is implemented before the halving date.
I am not too updated with the latest only started ready through everything a few days ago.

POS is realistically years away. ECC are still in a planning process for it
