There are several sites on the Internet that count the dates before the next halving of various coins, including Zcash. I do not know where they get the information from, but it is incorrect and will mislead people.
The “official” place for zcash network event countdowns would be in the Network Information section of z.cash https://z.cash/upgrade which is operated by ECC and they currently don’t have any events posted for that far in the future. It shouldn’t be difficult for them to address this but nothing can change the fact that other websites will continue to mislead people. @joshs can you help?
