Dao.Dao Proposals

We invite the public to create proposals for the ZecHub Dao to vote on. I encourage any idea to be submitted, no matter how small. All you need is some JUNO and a Keplr wallet to submit (very reasonable rates!)

2 out of 3 proposals passed and were awarded 86.1 ZEC collectively.

Summary

Should be noted that although @Batuhan 's proposal was not able to pass, he continued his campaign regardless! I encourage more folks looking to get started to follow his lead. See here for his progress and where you can send shielded donations if you value their work.

Also want to point to dao member @gordonesTV’s Aug proposal was a huge success and encourage everyone to read his lessons learned follow up here.

Reminder:

A prize pool of 25 ZEC is available for any application that interacts with the Zcash protocol with supporting documentation. Our DAO will hold an informal poll on October 12th to determine top 3 submissions.

Penumbra

dismad created a new HOWTO video to introduce the community to Penumbra using Keplr and ZecHub’s frontend.

  • Was able to test and run @hanh’s new warp sync locally
  • Helped fix a bug in Zingo-Cli (h/t @zancas)

Zcash Ecosystem Digest

  • Jhei, Hardaeborla, Gorga, Okedeji, and Glory each curated an edition of the Zcash weekly ecosystem newsletter.
  • Thanks to vito for publishing translated version for Zcash Brazil and also Edicksonjga translating for Zcash Espanol.

Community Infrastructure

There are still 4 community developers experimenting with zcashd nodes on Akash Network! They have had a head start on building something for the hackathon🙂
