Penumbra
Thanks to @tokidoki ZecHub now runs a Penumbra front-end! There are plans to extend functionality with an app! You can access it and shield your assets using Prax Wallet.
Namada
We continue to create educational content for Namada. With Namada Mainnet Launch Phase 1, Namada’s Community Builders Program & RPGF Namada Genesis allocation was made public. ZecHub Post
Once NAM transfers are enabled it will deposited to the DAO treasury.
Page DAO
We held a Twitter Space with Page DAO. Their app for content publishing built on Secret Network just went live. It was also useful opportunity to learn from their experiences after their DAO treasury was attacked! Listen here.
These are efforts to build ecosystem relations & lay the groundwork of knowledge to seek grants beyond the Zcash ecosystem.
Hackathon
We are hosting a Zcash Hackathon! A prize pool of 25 ZEC is available for any application that interacts with the Zcash protocol with supporting documentation. Our DAO will hold an informal poll on October 12th to determine top 3 submissions.
Events
I am currently working with CjFrankie & @lisa001 (Zcash Nigeria) to organise 2 Zcash workshops in Nigeria. Alongside Turkey, Venezuela, Vietnam and India it is one of the highest ranking countries with P2P crypto usage.
Zcash Educational Content
Dismad has created scripts that allow users to collect network data. They are available on his Free2z page: Free2z
Centralised Exchanges deposit times are now detailed on our exchanges page. This will benefit users to better select services. As noted in a recent Arborist Call, this may also assist Trailing Finality research on deposit time improvements. Thanks to @pacu for the idea🙂

The shielded transaction count over previous 24 hours will soon be made available on the Dashboard.
Community Meetings
We hold Treasury Reports every 3 months. The most recent was held on August 14th. Meeting recording and Presentation available in the ZecHub Channel.
Sync meetings occur every 2 weeks. Our most recent meeting was held on Twitter, it was good to see folks the Zcash twitter community join and listen in although we weren’t able to share presentations as normal. Join our next meeting on Tuesday 3rd Sept. Discord Event

Zcash Ecosystem Digest
- Annabelle, Glory, @Tecnopapapi and DaveySama each curated an edition of the Zcash weekly ecosystem newsletter.
- Thanks to @vito for publising transalated version for Zcash Brazil and also @Edicksonjga translating for Zcash Espanol.
Network Metrics
Thanks to @james_katz we have collected data on Zcash shielded transactions since genesis. Still in the process of being added to the Dashboard so it can be made accessible to everyone.
Community Infrastructure
There are now 4 community developers experimenting with zcashd nodes on Akash Network! They have had a head start on building something for the hackathon🙂
