A few days ago, Dismad, half-jokingly, said that ZecMap needed a Pokémon Go mode.
And here we are. 
ZecMoon is now live on the ZecMap map. Once it goes live, a small ℤ coin will appear somewhere in the world every few minutes. Almost every time on a different continent. No schedule, no announcements.
The first person to click the coin will get a short math challenge. A 5-second test.
Once you catch it, the catch will appear on your profile with its number. The first catch is #1, the second is #2, and so on.
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC, the weekly ranking resets and the top 3 players will win real ZEC:

Why did I build this?
Honestly, I wanted people to open ZecMap every day instead of once a month. Whether losing this much sleep this week was worth it is between me and the leaderboard.

There’s also a share button on every catch that creates a numbered card you can share on X. Seeing those out there would genuinely make me happy.
It’s brand new, so if you find a bug, let me know here. I’ll try to fix it quickly.
Next, we’ll be testing features like creating teams for competitions. We wanted to add a little fun to it.
