zm, Zerodartz here. im announcing my candidacy for ZCG election.
i first saw cryptocurrency bitcoin in 2013 mentioned on some forum, but didnt manage to get any then. tried mining, failed, but got curious and it stayed in back of my mind.
in 2017 i got my first coinbase account and bitcoin sats. played around with mining xmr on a laptop, later tried mining zec and eth and got things working. i tried soo many different cryptos and wallets and most were just bad back then. im a tech nerd and i love experimenting. 
in 2021 fell deeper into Zcash rabbit hole while the market was at its peak, started making memes (shoutout to tm3k for a lot of inspiration). later attended zcon4 and it was great experience. met real Zcash community people(they exist), heard different perspectives. some were super critical, most were passionate. realized Zcash is sth special and devs crazy smart. (tho many delays etc)
i believe world needs real private payments(decentralized), Zcash is almost there.
tech needs to be simple for everyone from 5yo to 150yo to use.
my dream is to see Zcash scale like real payment network. make private payments as easy as apple pay and it gets easier for the network effect to do sth (Zashi getting closer)
(Marketing - should be Wallets focused imo)
also we need to forget we’re a blockchain project - flip it on its head - its all about secure payments, saving, investing, and total freedom to do it all anywhere without needing to prove to some BIG corps that u exist and are not a criminal. (also AI agents could use it?)
what i look forward to in Zcash ecosystem most atm:
- Maya DEX integrations
- Keystone hardware wallet
- Coinvoting integrated to all wallets
- ZSAs
- ZEC should become spendable in more stores online/offline
- More worldwide communities becoming active and participating in events and being more active
