Thanks Tim, I’m glad I bought in on the first round. You guys rock ![]()
2 for 1 deal after the purchase? Wow, Tim and 5a1t, tip of my hat to you.
Any update on timeline for 2nd round start time?
By my reading, it’s a 4 for 1 deal after purchase.
what the term Genesis for?
“Genesis Contracts” start mining with the Zcash genesis block and extend for 6 months (or at least 180 days if genesis is delayed by the Zcash developers)
DECEMBER CONTRACTS
Zeropond will sell another round of contracts which start on December 1st and extend through May 31st (six months). Pricing will include the 2x hashpower increase we recently announced, and contracts will extend six months instead of three due to our reduced operational costs.
The sale will open this Saturday, October 8th, at 10:00 UTC.
Are you still updating the user’s plans?
No change for me yet.
I’m very interested in this zcash cloud mining . I will take part in round 2 for it
Yes, the update will come with the opening of December contracts on Saturday, October 8th.
This is a bit confusing… What would be (let say) the Mining Farm contract price be for a 6 month contract? Just simple and straightforward…
What would, let say, a 1/3/5/10 BTC invested buy in the form of 6 month contract?
@tim_olson @5a1t great that you have a second round of contracts, I hope that I shall not miss it this time. Humble request to you guys: see if possible to add a countdown timer on your cloud website. Thanks & Regards.
Hi Tim,
I have seen that the contracts have now gone from three to six months, but the price has increased compared to the first round (e.g. the “Mining Farm” contract used to cost 2.51 BTC or so and now costs 3,078 BTC). ![]()
I also think there is a typo in your page, where it says:
“December 1st Contracts begin December, 2016 and run Until February 28th, 2017.”
How will the buying process when the sale opens next Saturday?
Right now isn’t possible to register, so I cant see how would my user account.
I’d appreciate if you give me a guide on how to proceed for purchase (registration, payment method, etc.)
thanks in advance.
Mining slow start will have (nearly) finished by December, so their initial 50% discount for the first month only applied to genesis contracts.
Yes, str4d is correct. We gave 50% off for the Slow Start month, so the price-per-month is actually the same.
We accept BTC only, but we provide a Shapeshift.io widget to convert altcoins. Be aware that Shapeshift has a limit on the amount they will convert like this, so it’s best to have BTC ready.
We will open up registrations and sales at 10:00 am UTC on Saturday, October 8th.
Do I remember correctly people who participated in the first sale will be able to add extra hashes to their original slow start contract during the second sale?
Customers of the Genesis Contract will also be eligible for December Contracts HOWEVER there will be a new, different deposit address for December Contracts. These new deposit addresses will be available at 10:00 am UTC Saturday the 8th. Funds sent to your current/original deposit address will be returned.
Hi Tim, I see other GPU miners under development here in the forum having >15 sol/s, while I recall your GPU miner having about 1.2-1.5 sol/s. Does that mean these other miners are 10x faster than the one you have developed? Are the increases in hashing power and contract length offered due to improvements in your miner?
You are offering a 4x times better contract (hashing power*length of the contract) than the original Genesis contract for the same price. To me this massive discount due just to “diminished operational costs” seems very unlikely, unless your operational cost was way, way off since the beginning accounting for more than 75% of the costs? For transparency, can you please elaborate on how you have improved from original contract by a factor 4?
@5a1t @tim_olson correction, I see now GPU miners can solve up to 28.3 sol/s on an R9 290. What is your current solve rate?
