I knew it was probably not a good idea, but I transferred $100 of USDT into Hotbit, I bought YEC, but when i attempted to move my YEC out of Hotbit… well… Ill never see that money again. I contacted them but they just tell me to they are speaking with the “relevant” people to handle the situation. I think Hotbit just stole my YEC.
Has anyone else experienced a similar situation on Hotbit? I wont be using them again LOL

@Daft: Hotbit has been reliable for Ycash trading since it listed Ycash back in early 2020. Did you try to withdraw to a shielded address (y-address)? Hotbit, like most exchanges, does not support withdrawing to a shielded address. If you tried to do so, you’ll need to contact Hotbit support.

However with the constant trolling from some in Ycash community, it cannot be helped that some in Zcash feels the need to remind Ycash is a separate project. Even one person tried to join MGRC with the goal of developing Ycash with the Zcash dev fund 
I respect Ycash but disrespect towards Zcash is completely unnecessary.

That maximalism you express is cult like behavior. These are open roads, with different purposes, for different people with distinct interests. Bridging differences only brings synergy. I submit you need further study of what’s happening. Not working with ycash developers is narrow minded fear of people protecting what they perceive to be their own interests and not looking at bigger picture .

It’s not about maximalism. It’s about focus! I like other crypto but topics on zcash forum should be zcash focused or at-least zcash should be component of the conversation.
