Assistance with running NiceHash in Windows

Hello all - tried searching for and reading through various posts but not getting anywhere.

First off - setup:
Windows 7 - running nicehash and instructions as found here:

At CLI I’m running the following command:
nheqminer_zcash.exe -l usa -u t1JRH-------------------GFKE -t 6

I’ve also tried a few renditions - including attempting various pool addresses but essentially I’m getting “resolve: No such host is known” - I’ve gotten that regardless of what I’ve done in the command.

I’ve added my PC to the DMZ which allowed another mining app to run successfully - just can’t get this one to.

Thoughts/suggestions?

don’t use -l usa, put in the server address including port.

Getting the same result with:
nheqminer_zcash.exe -stratum+tcp://zec-eu.suprnova.cc:2142 -u t1JR--------------------F7pBoGFKE -t 6

resolve: no such host is known

You do

nheqminer_zcash.exe -l zec-eu.suprnova.cc:2142 -u t1JRH-------------------GFKE -t 6

That should fix it :slight_smile:

Unfortunately no - same issue.

Is there something on the router that I need to configure at all? I already added it to the DMZ.
