You can pregenerate addresses if you want and just use those.
So basically make X amount of addresses then save wallet.dat
Zcashd doesn’t have HD wallets so if you make a new address your old wallet.dat won’t have it
do you copy the wallet.dat or use the z_exportwallet command?
I have a copy of my whole OS (linux+zcashd) and also the wallet.dat just incase
