im getting 408-412 Sol per GTX 1080
What pools Are you guys mining on?
I have tried suprnova.cc. It looks like the pool’s combined processing power is ~7000 sol/s which i consider to be very small. And if i get it right everyone competes against each other to discover a block. Which means that one will pretty much never mine any zcash in that pool. Or am i missing something? I’m still new to this.
when i set miner for dwarfpool and block other connections i saw in logs that miner after few min tryed connect to about 50 addresses, but that was not pool addresses, is that miner a part of botnet?
I have EVGA gtx 1070 FTW edition
I use windows 10 and flypool
It is a mistake it is 7000 ksols but it doesnt show right
Anyone know what is the output performance right now for : 980, 1060, 1070 ? also how much power usage.

I get with the 1070 around 460-470 sol/s
80% power usage and 2000 core 4600 memory clock

Has this surpassed nicehash’s miner speed?
What about watt ? more than 200W ?

No the tdp is 150 W max so i believe it is 80% from 150 = 120 W

Turns out my problem all along was my windows 10 version. I don’t see how, but I was still running on 1511, as soon as I updated to anniversary edition my hash/sec went up by about 20%. I do appreciate your help and advice though. If there’s anyone else out there not getting the EWBF advertised hash/sec update your damned windows

I started looking at building a x6 GPU rig and ran into a problem of how i’m gonna power these GPUs.
Each card needs x2 8pin power connectors, so a total of 12. I was looking to get 2 850w EVGA power supplies, but they dont have this many (Amazon.com)
How many cards do you have? How are you powering up yours?
I only have 1 gtx 1070 and 1 gtx 970 so I don’t have that problem yet.
But you only need 6 because you get 2x 8 pin from 1 x 8 pin in the power supply
what is the typical 1060 speed?
Also, does 6gb vs 3gb make any difference?

Yes it makes a differecen around 30 sol/s less
so with 6 gb around 300 sol/s with 3 gb around 270 sol/s
Any one know the latest on 1050ti? Haven’t heard anything new on them since several updates ago.
well, i installed 1060 6b, installed and updated current Nvidia drivers and CUDA 8.0.44 on Ubuntu 16.04, which was a hassle since initially my display was showing 640x480, which was barely usable. After installing new drivers, display is OK at high res.
Miner does not work anyway…says that it cannot connect to server, which is us1-zcash.flypool.org.
i have many other (AMD) rigs running fine, so i have no idea what is going on.
apart from reinstalling the OS, i don’t know what to do.
Any suggestions?

which GTX brand do u have? only 8 pin power or 6 pin + 8 pin power?
Finally, it works
either there is an error in flypool’s NVIDIA/EWBF string or it is something specific to my computer;
I had to change the string (removed :3333), then it started working.

Always wanted to compare AMD with NVIDIA. First impression- i like NVIDIA graphics better.
I can’t say what it is, but screen looks a bit better and crisper, but only slightly so.
Maybe a different color palette?
