I have been thinking about how we can introduce Zcash to new users and communities in Türkiye, and I would like to hear feedback from the Zcash community.
My idea is to combine education with real-world awareness research.
The plan would include:
- Turkish Zcash Educational Video Series
Create a structured educational series in Turkish covering topics such as:
What is Zcash?
Why does financial privacy matter?
Transparent and shielded transactions
zk-SNARK technology
Zcash history and ecosystem
Wallet usage
Viewing keys and selective disclosure
Real-world privacy use cases
The videos would be published on the Crypto Epoch YouTube channel in a dedicated Zcash education playlist and shared through X.
The goal would be creating a permanent Turkish educational library that new users can access anytime.
- Street Interview Series
After completing the educational series, I would like to create a street interview format to understand public awareness.
The interviews would focus on simple questions:
Do you have any experience with cryptocurrencies?
Have you heard about financial privacy?
Do you think privacy is important in digital payments?
Have you heard of Zcash before?
The purpose is not only promotion but understanding how people outside the crypto ecosystem think about privacy and digital money.
- Community and Event Interviews
In the future, when attending crypto events in Türkiye, I would also like to create a similar interview format with community members and participants.
Questions could include:
How well do you understand Zcash?
What do you know about shielded transactions?
Do you know the difference between transparent and private transactions?
Participants who want to learn more would be directed to the educational video series.
This could help identify knowledge gaps even within the crypto community and show which topics need more explanation.
I believe education works best when we first understand what people already know and what they don’t know.
