Hello Zcash Community,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a young man named Ufuk, whose life changed forever after a tragic diving accident that left him 97% disabled and paralyzed from the neck down. He cannot use his hands, has spent years in hospitals, and continues to battle severe infections, pain, and long ICU stays. His mother has been his only constant support, but after years of struggle, even she can no longer carry this burden alone.

Across Türkiye, both crypto communities and many public figures have come together to support Ufuk’s critical medical needs. As Zcash Türkiye, we are also doing our part. But the treatments, surgeries, and long-term care he needs are far beyond what local donations alone can cover.

My name is Ufuk. My life changed in an instant after a diving accident that left me 97 percent disabled and paralyzed from the neck down. I cannot use my hands, and I am still in the hospital, fighting through constant infections, pain, and long stays in intensive care. Over the years, the weight of this journey has grown heavier, and even my mother, my biggest source of support, can no longer carry this burden alone.

Several treatments and surgeries that I urgently need are still out of reach, and the emotional and physical challenges have become overwhelming. Still, I am fighting, holding on, and hoping for a chance to receive better care.
