I only have Zcash, but no one knows I have cryptocurrencies. I declare Zcash on my income tax return. I don’t know how to tell my family I have cryptocurrencies. I’m afraid this information will leak and others will know I have cryptocurrencies. My biggest fear is that one day I’ll die and my family will never know I have cryptocurrencies and I’ll lose my Zcash forever. I’m becoming obsessed with anonymity. I run the risk of my income tax return one day being leaked online and everyone will know I have cryptocurrencies, but I also run the risk of telling my family and someone in my family telling other people close to me that I have cryptocurrencies.
Hi! What about leaving a note with instructions in some more or less secure service like apple and appointing a digital heir to one of the family members?
In general, I think there’s nothing wrong with telling your family about cryptocurrencies and teaching them how to use them. You don’t have to share your savings, but just sending everyone a few zecs on Zashi will be a useful introduction.
