Would Zcash be considered decentralized?
The network is as decentralised as the various mining pools. But, at this time, the development and implementation of the protocol is dependent on a single team. Other than lack of will and expertise in a fairly specialised field, there’s nothing stopping other people from developing their own implementations of the protocol - and attempting to push it in their desired direction. imo…
they should hire more professionals to protect everything etc… make it bigger and stronger , faster and secure !
