How much RAM is needed to build this on Linux?
512mb, 1gb exhausts the virtual mem
Iâm testing out at 23H/s on zogminer now. If I donât sleep and can find a way to stabilize this into zcashd there will be a GPU miner for launch.
But more likely it will roll out a bit after. But we also wonât/canât keep the code to ourselves so just watch us and see if you want.

How do I enable GPU mining on the linux version of this?

We wait for the release of Linux version only Windows binary for nowâŚ
rx480 ubuntu 16.0.4, but we still need some time before you can run it safely.
I ran the cpu miner for a while and noticed it was at 100% for a while then would drop out and restart again.
I think its overheating, how do i set it to use less cpu power? Say 85%?

You think its worth going down the cpu path or sticking to GPUâs?

I highly doubt an amd gpu miner will be ready for launch

if you have rx480s or r9 nanos lying around, then of course pile it on. but if you dont, those cards are overpriced at the moment. i would wait to see what the cost benefit is after genesis to see if worthwhile.
Itâs for linux unfortunately⌠I donât wont my eyes to be red again with Linux because of strange problems, broken dependencies, reading the manuals and soon⌠Iâm too old for such an⌠adventuresâŚ

Someone will hack it together for windows aswell is my guess.
Agree with you man, going to mine from a pc and hang back the first few days to see whats happening.
