not sure if it works at all , even empty ./optiminer-zcash returns nothing , no reaction on switches

Can someone please write a tutorial about how to get started with Cygwin (which packages to select while installing), I am stuck at first few commands (simple commands like apt-get dont work right off the back).
Please someone take 5 mins to write down what to do to get started up to the point where we can continue with Silentarmy 5 instructions of installing AMD GPU pro drivers and SDK etc.

Rename the file. It is named X_base.bin, rename it to be X-base.bin
And the other X… files too

Change bin/X_base.bin to X-base.bin and try again
and after you run into cant connect error
