Miner- Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v1.7!

I searched on this thread to find the script you were talking about and couldn’t. Could you share it? Thanks,

Yes 4 gb, sorry, edited post.

I did, back when we were running windows and claymore (it didn’t make much difference – maybe it does now but I don’t have a baseline with unmoded cards and optiminer)

What are you clocks if you don’t mind sharing?

Actually stock now that I’m on linux (although these came overclocked). I didn’t change clocks in bios (maybe I should have) because when I was in windows I was using Wattman. Now that I’m in Linux 16.04 I can’t figure out how to reliably overclock with the new amdgpu pro driver so I’m just going to leave it at stock for now.

Seems so unreal for me to reach that hash. Getting 700 with 6 msi rx 470 4 gb. I’ll try some settings later on.

Is it the one GPU produces those S/s?

For example one R9 Nano produces 175S/s?

Yes that is S/s for 1 card

Thank you for your replay!

LOL so you are using a shoe tray as case?
Just as me. :joy:

Guilty aswell , using 2 shoe bamboo racks from amazon… :sweat_smile:

P.S. Quickly move the wine away from the heat source :stuck_out_tongue:

@Optiminer have you looked at reconnect and xnusb?

Your miner hangs at standard stratum “client.reconnect” method.

2016-11-14 17:40:33,690 WARN [default] Call of unknown method “client.reconnect” by server.
2016-11-14 17:40:33,690 INFO [default] Retrying connecting to equihash.eu.nicehash.com in 20 ms.

2016-11-14 17:40:33,698 ERROR [default] IO/Error communicating to equihash.eu.nicehash.com

Please fix this. Thanks!

@Optiminer

Same for me.

Hanged on reconnect at flypool. I had to restart all rigs.

Yep, 0.3.1 was quite the downgrade in terms of stability.

@Optiminer

on v0.3.1 one rig crashed after some hours. Also get lot Kernel messages on both rigs:

Seems to be a bug verifyed this bug also on 2 other Workstation on linux with single AMD card. Receiving same messages on different RX470, RX480 cards… → dmesg or take look into /var/log syslog files …

Please fix the VM_CONTEXT1_PROTECTION_FAULT_ADDR, random gpu not hashing and stratum failing bugs.

D’u have good news? :slight_smile:
// seen 3 hours ago… looks like no :frowning:

i also get crashing after a few hours
stock rx480 without risers
i am gonna check out claymore and see if that is more stable
a few sol less but stable mining is worth more then crashing every few hours and most likely when asleep

My RX480 8G hangs after a couple of minutes… can you look over that - Ubuntu 16.04 amd-gpu-pro + amd-app-sdk

Seems that alot are getting issues with this miner. Looks like this miner crashed twice today for everybody including the devs mining account
