Miner- Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v1.7!

Nice  Will release 1.3.1 which will make the hack to copy the linux drivers unneccessary soon. Not needed for you as you already unlocked it

Also remember that from claymore numbers you need to deduct the fee while optiminer shows ‘net’ rates!

That’s true, so basicly I am getting 2005-2%=1964 with claymore :D.
100h/s more on optiminer or 16/card.

BTW, do you think there is still space to increase speed with new version or that is max?

I can confirm that 1.1.0 works now after and update/upgrade on 16.04 with 16.40. Not sure what dependency was the problem. Thanks @bio!

Version 1.3.1 released

New features:

  • Automatically select AMD platform when not specified.
  • Print error when 32bit addressing is used.
  • Try to select best kernel for used driver.
  • Add option to list devices (–list-devices).

If version 1.3.0 was working stable for you there is no need to upgrade.

Any other improvements? I’m only seeing 270 H/s on a R9 Nano. My 480’s are running slower than expected as well.

What platform? As noted on github on Windows you only get full speed with catalyst 15.12. 480 only run at full speed under Linux.

270H/S is very slow for a Nano. Does your system occupy a lot of video memory? Try different values for the intensity (-i).

Ubuntu 16.04 and 16.40 PRO drivers.

I was seeing ~200 H/s for 480’s and 270 H/s for Nanos. With Claymore, I see 250 H/s for the 480s and 320 for the Nanos.

I see 245 Sol/s sustained at the mining pool per Rx 470 card on Ubuntu 16.04 .

With same parameters of 1.3.0, the new version doesnt work for me, i am using a r9 380x and always getting this error:

Failed to list devices with platform 0, i tried -c 0,1 and 2 and nothing, same with -d, any ideas?.

Windows version.

PD: Thanks for your work

What settings did you use for 1.3.0? I wonder what platform 0 is on your system that it fails to list its devices… The miner should just skip the platform on this error. Will fix this in the next release.

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=1
optiminer -i 1 -c 1 -s zec-eu.suprnova.cc:2142 -u xxxxx -p xxxx

pause

And when i try the command list devices:

Thanks for reporting  Will be fixed in next version. Just use 1.3.0 with these settings for now. 1.3.1 is not faster.

Ok, thank you for the reply

still get segmentation fault (core dumped) error with 1.3.1
Claymore 10 work with no troubles.
ubuntu 14.04 x86_64, fglrx 15.20.3, stock r9 290x

It happen sometimes that suprnova timout and than miner wait for new job.
What to do about that to reconnect after some time?

Atm i have to close the miner and reopen it… when i figure it that it not mine

I had problems at first with fglrx 15.201, but after updating to the latest 15.302 driver, all my rigs are running great. Although, I did have to turn down the intensity on a couple of them to “-i 3”.

Try to update/upgrade - fixed the core dump on 16.04 for me.

for me, all old and new cards are working again (with 1.3.1). great performance! but also great power consuption

Best miner for tonga card - 200 sols
