Anyone Try this with R9 290’s?

Ubuntu wont reboot, when I have updated the drivers to 16.40…

will boot when I unplug it…

7 gpu? Which motherboard? 7 Pcie?

Which cpu? I tried with Nvidia and it won’t recognize 7th card…think there’s a difference between bus lanes for nvidia and amd. Also, I have a crappy celeron in there… I never got to try with an Xeon.

I am not sure off hand. I would have to reference some ethereum forum posts. I have two arriving today with 14x rx480. Ill keep you posted.

sorry to keep bugging you but I really want to get this working. I ran that bash script linked above and this is what happened towards the end…

What miner are you using on cpu? I get only 17 sols/s on my i7 4790 -t 8

Thanks for the share! Could you please tell me how do you control the gpu fans? Cheers

You can get 7 cards running on an MSI z77 gd 55 or 65.
celeron g1610 is ok but the previous gen disables 1 slot by default.

MSI z97 Gaming 5

I paid about 80$ for mine  gets about 300 Sols/s

What is the best Sapphire RX470 8GB Nitro+ BIOS mod for this miner? Best clocks after it’s flashed?

1750 → 2000 timing strap?
2100 → 2250 Max memory freq?

1150 Core 2200 Mem?

yes sapphire is probably best with its dual bios and good price

modded bios gets more Sol/s but unmodded is more stable

In regards to unmodded bios, are stock clocks best at 1260/2000?

I’ve heard some people say dropping to 980/1900.

Which is better?

Are there any infos on windows version and nvidia support?

Both are outlined to be possible in future releases. As of now, there are no further developments as any news or info will be posted here and/or updated in the original post.

Like a charm!
