Yes, that’s where they should be. Just suggesting what you would do if you didn’t want to change to the silentarmy directory in order to run it. No worries.
Can anyone link me how to apply modded straps on rx480’s
After install AMDGPU-PRO Driver system need password!
Which passowrd?
@ret Did you have auto-login set up for your desktop environment?
yes,my ubuntu 16.04 log automatically, after install AMDGPU-PRO Driver I cant login even with system passw.
The AMDGPU-PRO install wiped out your auto-login setting. I had the same thing happen. You have to put the config file back in place to get it going again. If you had no password on the account, type for the password (maybe will work). Otherwise, use cntrl+alt+F1 (or F2) to get a terminal window to fix it.
need a little help:
Connecting to equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357
Stratum: SILENTARMY is not compatible with servers fixing the first 17 bytes of the nonce
Many thanks for this port. I will try it later with my Arch rig. ![]()
@Fluf The only help you can get is to switch pools, or @mrb change the miner to accommodate nicehash. Silentarmy works great on flypool.
ok, i’ll try flypool thanks.
These were received from Genoil 0.42-0.6, which AFAIK use SA solver
someone managed to prot it to windows yet, or is dual boot my only option??
Need some help installing Silent Army miner.
Just bought a brand new machine, AMD driver keep crashing Ubuntu
-
Installed the latest Ubuntu 16 as a clean install and a brand new, empty drive. Machine boots and runs great
-
Downloaded the AMDGPU-PRO package directly from AMD website. Install runs without error
-
Added my user to the video group
-
Reboot
-
KERNEL PANIC
Does anybody have any suggestions about what I might be missing? I would have thought that new clean versions of code would be compatible. Haven’t even gotten to installing a miner yet.
Thank you in advance.
Tested out Claymore for a bit, but My 390 Rig(2x390 4x380x), keep dropping, so am back to Silentarmy…

So silent army uses cpu aswell ?
Running v3 on linuxx abd getting 40 sol/sec
Then i run linnux nheqminer and get 10 sol/sec on cpu only but my silent armt drops by ten
This is 2nd time I saw someone’s SA break after trying claymore. SA’s linux only and claymore’s windows only? I don’t know how that would break.
I just downloaded v3 and trying to do the make for the first time. I am getting an error. Can someone point out what I need to do to fix this?
gcc -std=gnu99 -pedantic -Wextra -Wall -ggdb -Wno-deprecated-declarations -Wno-overlength-strings -I"/opt/AMDAPPSDK-3.0/include" -c -o main.o main.c

NVidia support for your miner? Unaligned memory access is not supported on this platform as far as I know.
User error here - clinfo was returning the onboard graphics device. I had to enable a bios setting, and silentarmy is happily producing ~45 sol/s on a R9 Nano
Thanks mrb!
