Miner- Zogminer: Linux SILENTARMY

How many H/s have a single GTX 970?

@trolloniex - what instance type you running?

For testing c4.large, m4.large and t2.medium

The same thing.

664 cycles and system died.
RX 470 4GB,
Got from 0 to 26.6 H/s

rx 470 8gb Got from 0 to 30.5 H/s
but i have a issue

These numbers look consistent with what I’m getting. Keep in mind you need to average the hash rates out to 2 solutions per round, I assume you got 26.6H/s from a 5 solution round. Which in practice gives you a hash rate of 10.32H/s

We will fix the crashing after a large amount of runs problem

EDIT

Also keep in mind I haven’t committed an improvement that should give you an extra 3H/s

We can wait. Good luck!

Can I ask you what results are you getting on the rx 480?
What do you think it is reasonable to expect with an 8 gb and an optimized mining software?
Will your software support multi gpus?

Thank you

Just read this topic.

The reason why the RX 470/480 crashes is because you all have updated the bios with the 1500 Strap and while that works for ETH it might not work for ZCASH. So flash back firmware to stock.

Mmm… Does you try this?

Can we mine now on testnet with this miner?

Wrong assumption, I have stock cards

No you still can’t, stay tuned for updates. Guys are doing everything possible to deliver it upon launch.

Try with a R9 280X or R9 290 instead and see if it crashes.

The new RX cards don’t work properly with certain algos except ETH and XMR due to the way they are designed. Most sgminer algos never worked with my RX or had horrible speeds.

The most common mining cards is the R9 280X (rebranded 7970 ) and the second most common is the R9 290. Its important that those work since those are the ones that miners are using the most.

RX 470/480 came out a few months ago and there aren’t that many of those.

A lot of miners have sold or dumped there R9 280X and 290 as they use to much power ive swapped all mine out for RX470 8 gig nitros 2 rigs 10 cards in total

~100w vs 250w is a no brainer at roughly the same performance

New miners have RX4xx cards… And A lot of miners have sold there R9 280X and 290 as they use to much power… I have 20 RX470…

There is probably still hundreds of thousands of those 280x/290 around, I highly doubt that every single one got sold for a RX. If you have cheap power the upgrade was hardly worth the switch. The 280x was bad due to DAG file change but the 290/390 is still used by most.

Hi, i compiled this miner but i have little problem.
Suprnova show no hashrate at all and this is propobly because errorrs.
Anybody know why ?
