I just looped the solver 100 times and found 175 solutions. 1.75 solns per hash list sounds about right.

I will loop it 1000 times and then 10k over night to confirm.

Zcash GPU Open-miner captain’s log 0.3.1:

The solver is ready for testing and you may now begin running actual equihash solutions and reporting solution rates. Thanks to @omaralv for dropping the test kernel into the host.

Our next step will be completing the host setup and testnet block mining! It looks like the initial solution rate is around ~10H/s for rx480s and I will be spending the remainder of the time until launch tying to improve this number.

We will try to answer as many issues as possible but Omar and I will be very busy until launch. Hopefully the community can help tech support.

Driver install issue:

$ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libOpenCL.so.1 /usr/lib/libOpenCL.so

Or for people that do not want to mess with this:

$ sudo apt-get install ocl-icd-opencl-dev
