Anybody tried this software so far? Results? Feedback?

Ok, here my review as i tested it the last hours on my home/work PC with 3x 1080ti’s.

Benchmark: Didn’t tell me much other than the end result, that’s more or less ok even i had like more specific info

Coins: Half the coins are no more mineable with GPU’s, Scrypt coins for example. And good GPU coins are missing

Pools: Easy to choose and absolute easy way to setup.

Overclock: Best part of it, even the fans for some reason on 1 gpu resetet all the time to it’s original settings. Other than that, perfect simple. Works with Englargement Pill by the way.

GPU’s: No option to choose the GPU’s to mine with, either all or none. Not good.

Fee: 1%. Ok, not worth for me due the reasons i will describe below

Charts: The GPU charts showing Memorgy, Clock all all other usages of each GPU, cool, very good.

Stability: Here the big minus. While the program run good for about 2 hours, a sudden my whole system froze for the first time. CPU usage a sudden 100% and whatever else not. That’s the first time my PC has frozen. Having in mind it’s a top notch PC (Win10, 64GB RAM, I7-8700k, 3x 1080ti, Maximus Hero X Mainboard, SSD). Seriously, this program brought my PC down into to the knees forcing me to hit reset the first time to recover from that expertiment. No idea which part hit the bottom, but there is no way i’am resetting my PC every 2 hours. Too bad, looked promising easy, especially the pool choose and setup.

At this state and stability it’s just junk which is sad as it looked really promising and making life easier for the average joe home miner.

Hello, boxalex.

Thanks for your detailed review.

  1. Benchmark is needed for autwoswitching (to figure out what coin is most profitable)
  2. What coins do you want to see in our software?
  3. Very strange that “fans for some reason on 1 gpu resetet all the time to it’s original settings”, will figure out this problem.
  4. Will add feature to choose GPU’s to mine with.
  5. We will improve monitoring charts dramatically in next update so stay tuned.

About stability - its a little bit unstable due to last major update. Working now on improvements.

Thx for your quick answer. Here some additionally feedback:

  1. No problem about the benchmark, of course their must be some, i just wished a bit more detailed info about it and what exactly it was doing at the moment, but that’s not a big deal at all. It’s ok.

2.) About the coins, just remove all the by now useless Asic coins and add more GPU coins. It’s not about a wish or so. But for example all the new forked equihash coins are missing, like BTG, ZERO und such. Additionally there are only 3 Ethash/Dagger Hashimoto coins but a lot more there are of interest. Than some interesting GPU algos are missing, Neoscrypt for example and a lot others. You must improve that if you want to make it appealing for gpu miners…

3.) Yeah, 1 fan resetting all the time from 100% which i tried all the time to keep resetted all the time to the original 78%, no idea why that, but it was annoying.

4.) A futre with which GPU’s to mine is a good thing and a must in my opinion, especially for home miners and i think these is your targeted customers.

5.) Charts are ok, ok, there could be added some more things, but don’t make it priority, the stability is way more important.

6.) Stability, i even checked it out a 2nd time to see if PC freezes again and yes. As soon as i hit the “Stop” mining button, same scenario, everything frozen, no chance to do whatever. Just frozen. Cold shut down needed to get out of this. Really really bad as it destroyed the whole intention to use it further.

  1. For example, what kind of info do you want to see when benchmark is in progress?
  2. Now we rely on whattomine coins, because we need to get profitability data for autoswitching. We will think how to add more coins.
  3. Will figure out and fix.
  4. Agree
  5. Yeah, stability first.
  6. Yes, fully agree, now its our first priority. However he tested on our farms and PCs, even mixed configurations (AMD/NVIDIA) and tests passed good.
So we will be appreciated you for further testing because we need users with different setups.

If you have some else propositions, your welcome.
