Is it possible to have a successful mining experience with zcashd, when one does not have an incoming connection available? I am currently using -port=8080 for at least a common outbound port.
What I mean by that is, our workplace firewall is too restrictive, and I do not with to use a complicated SOCKS5 and/or other “evasion” technique. So, I am able to successfully obtain work and solve it, but am unable to accept inbound connections.
I currently see that I am solving, and mining blocks, but getinfo shows me the familiar error:
“errors” : “WARNING: check your network connection, 0 blocks received in the last 4 hours (96 expected)”
