It’s not a big deal but I’m sure 99% people following the steps gets a “No such file or directory” at some point. Adding the following would prevent this little annoyance:
mkdir ~/.zcash
touch ~/.zcash/zcash.conf

On first run of zcashd this directory is automatically generated, where you’re then asked to configure zcash.conf manually.
Would be better if we defaulted to an interactive menu with generic vars filled and had option to mod if selected so we don’t have to bother with vi ~/.zcash/zcash.conf etc.
