Monitoring VRM temperature Linux

Hi all,

I have done an exhaustive search here and on Google, but I am unable to find any information on how I can monitor VRM temps on my RX 480 cards under Linux with the AMDGPU-pro drivers. I can find commands that use aticonfig but this is not used in the latest drivers.

Does anyone know how to monitor VRM temps under Linux and the latest AMDGPU-pro drivers?

Cheers

Thank you for your post. I have ran sensors but it only has the GPU temp not the VRM temp sensor.

Software can’t monitor VRM temperatures. You need a Laser Infrared Thermometer.

No worries. Thanks for the info. I though that there would be a similar temp sensor to that for the VRM when using HWinfo64 on Windows.

If there are MIBs available for the vendor GPUs, the native SNMP Agent might do the trick. I’m an expert in this area, and am planning to explore monitoring options in detail, to avoid overheating, etc.
