🟣 New Era of Zcash Websites: The Balkan Hub Proposal (Flow Hive Digital)

Flow Hive Final files-02 1

Hi everyone :waving_hand:

We’re excited to share our full proposal for the Zcash Balkan Hub — a multilingual, privacy-first Webflow portal designed to expand Zcash education and shielded wallet adoption across 9 Balkan countries (20 M+ people).

:brain: Why this matters

For years, Zcash has led the way in privacy technology — but its web presence and onboarding tools haven’t evolved at the same pace as its protocol.

The Zcash Balkan Hub introduces a new design era: fast, multilingual, and user-friendly Webflow-based experiences that lower the barrier to entry for new users and creators.

This project is the first step toward modern, decentralized regional portals — starting with the Balkans, then expanding globally through open-source templates anyone can reuse.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: What’s inside

  • Multilingual education hub in 8 languages (SR, HR, BS, MK, SL, AL, BG, EN)

  • Real-time shielded dashboard (lightwalletd + Zebra APIs)

  • Creator program paying influencers in shielded ZEC

  • Meetup tools & community calendar across Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Skopje, Ljubljana

  • Open-source Webflow template for future hubs (MIT License)

:gear: Why now

The current Zcash ecosystem sites are functional — but not designed for mass adoption, localization, or modern engagement.
We believe Zcash needs Webflow-powered, API-connected, visually stunning portals that bring its privacy mission to life for everyday users, not just developers.

:speech_balloon: Feedback welcome

We’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions — from community members, builders, and the ZF team.

This proposal aims to show how Webflow + open-source tools can bring a new generation of accessible, privacy-centric Zcash websites to life.

Let’s build a new era of Zcash web presence — starting in the Balkans. :purple_heart:

i am about multilingual prospects

Yo @lawzec , Thanks for the comment!

We agree, the multilingual aspect is crucial for the Balkan region with so many languages and cultures – it will enable easier access to education about Zcash privacy for everyone from Serbia to Bulgaria.

But not only that: we plan a total redesign of the existing site, which is currently outdated and unintuitive, with a modern Webflow Enterprise setup, PWA functionalities, and better navigation for shielded transactions. If you have any more suggestions, we’d love to hear them! :rocket:

Thank you for submitting your proposal. After review by the ZCG and consideration of community feedback on the forum, the committee has determined that this proposal falls outside the current scope of ZCG and will not be funded.

We appreciate the effort you put into your submission and encourage you to stay engaged with the Zcash community and consider future proposals that align more closely with the program’s objectives.
